A home made with a Lite Form Concrete System provides a much quieter and more energy efficient living area for home owners. In foundation applications, the basement and crawl areas are much drier and warmer in the cooler months of the year (and cooler in the warm summer months).
Once the home is built and siding is applied, only you will know your home is made of concrete. The benefits will speak for themselves in the form of a much more quiet and energy efficient home.
Once the ICF Structure is built, traditional siding applications can take place, including stucco finishes or common long-lasting durable products such as Seamless Siding, brick or stone.
For foundations or areas below grade, water-proofing and a membrane can be applied.
On the interior side of the ICF walls, installation of plumbing and wiring is installed within the foam areas, prior to drywall or paneling being applied.
Since the Insulation (the ICF Form) is already in place, drywall can be immediately applied to the interior foam wall by utilizing the flat face of each tie.
